Tour Experience

Our sailing trip along the Amalfi Coast was hands-down “thee best” vacation we’ve ever taken! After researching several Airbnbs along the Amalfi Coast, we concluded that chartering a sail boat would be the most practical way to explore the coast. It eliminated the hassle of schlepping luggage from place to place and avoiding long waits in lines for boats/ferries and buses to travel to each new location. Joe helped us plan a custom sail itinerary. The plan included day trips and overnight dock stays in: Nareno, Amalfi, Ischia, Capri, and Positano. Part of these stays included restaurant reservations organized by Joe, as some were specifically accessed by boat only. The boat is very clean and meticulously maintained. Our cabin consisted of a queen size bed, private bathroom, plenty of storage, and dedicated air conditioning. Joe is very a conscientious and safety minded captain. We could go on and on about our trip with Joe and can’t recommend it enough.

We couldn’t speak more highly about our time with Joe. At every point, Joe was upfront, communicative and a joy to be around. Joe had tragic family news the day before we were set to sail, even still, he joined us and was the best captain you could ask for. Kind, loving, thoughtful and selfless at all points. We have stayed in amazing places over the years but Joe’s service was exceptional. He took us to the best spots, hooked us up with guides, rides, reservations at amazing restaurants, and was nothing but a gentleman. Do what we did, read the reviews. Every single one is glowing for a reason. It was truly the most amazing week of our lives. If you can stay longer with Joe - you should. 5 days seemed daunting on a sailboat but the variety of our days, the peace, the beauty of the coast and Joe’s company made it feel like a dream. Joe, you are a good man and Tyler and I can’t wait to spend more time with you on your boat. It was like a honeymoon! We adore you.

Our stay on Joe and Fabio’s boat was nothing short of incredible. Both of them went out of their way to make sure we were having fun and comfortable. Fabio was with us during our stay and was so amazing with recommendations and catered everything to what we wanted and what he thought we would enjoy. Between swimming spots, restaurants, and activities to do on land we had some of the best few days. Both of them were so knowledgeable about the entire Amalfi Coast and had an answer to all of our questions. There were six of us staying on the boat, four of which were teenagers, and there was enough room, storage, and a good enough sleeping arrangement to make everyone happy. Our family has not stopped talking about their experience on the boat and we truly think that this stay made our time in Amalfi as enjoyable as it was. We could not recommend this enough it is worth every penny because of the memories and experiences we get to hold on to thanks to Joe and Fabio.

If sailing along the Amalfi Coast is on your bucket list, this trip will not disappoint. Sailing and swimming along the coast while taking in the awe inspiring views is worth it alone. But to stay in a different port each night and share in that town’s local flavor truly enhances the experience. The boat was just perfect for our two couples. The beds are comfortable and their is enough above and below deck spaces to enjoy the trip. We cooked a few meals (mainly breakfast) but it’s not necessary since Fabio the Captain will share great recommendations for lunch and dinner spots. Each one giving us a more local vibe than some of the more tourist restaurants. Fabio took such great care of us and shared many stories about the area. He made everything tranquillo! Joe has a great thing going on here. He was easy to work with in planning our trip and helped us easily transition into boat life for a few days. We highly recommend!
